The Council of the European Union has recently conducted a European video art competition to showcase the latest films and artists from the E.U.

Free screenings will take place on the following dates:

• Wednesday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. At the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center.
  The screening theme is social and political.


• Thursday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. At the Phillips Collection.
  The screening theme is aesthetic.


• Saturday, June 12 at 2 p.m. At the National Portrait Gallery.
  The screening theme is portraiture and identity.
